Forms of M&A

There are many forms of M&A. Basically we can divide it into two types, one involves capital movement and the other do not.

In the former, M&A in broad sense such as Corporate Takeover, Equity acquisition, set-up of a joint-venture, meanwhile in narrow sense such as Merger, Company Buyout and Spin-Off.

In the later, which means coorperation without capital investment, such as Joint-Development, OEM partnership, sales tie-up, etc.
